Shipping
All in-stock domestic orders for baby carriers will be shipped out within 2-3 business days via US Mail. If you need your order in a hurry, please consider purchasing the Express Shipping. .
International orders will be sent within 2-3 business days via USPS 1st Class or Global Priority Mail. Currently, the only product we are shipping internationally are the Lose Your Mummy Tummy Splint and DVD. International shipping for the Lose Your Mummy Tummy Splint and DVD must be purchased for these products.
How come you say "Free Shipping"
Shipping for all products is free within the US. Again, we only ship 2 products overseas. The rest are not shipped out of the USA. Some day, I will figure out how to get this properly configured in my shopping cart but to date, I have not succeeded (in anything other than a good permanent lump on my head from banging it on the wall trying to figure that out).
Insurance
We are not responsible for lost packages. Most packages are shipped via USPS and they are very reliable and help us keep our costs low. However, some packages do get lost. We can not take responsibility for lost packages. You may purchase insurance for any shipment.How do I get my orders shipped to the UK and how long does it take?
You have to pay separately for the shipping by ordering the shipping as an item you add to your cart. Everything will ship via USPS Priority International which seems to take about 1-3 weeks to the UK, depending on the camels and turtles here, customs there, and the Royal Mail service. Canada, by the way, is around the same. There isn't enough data on the rest of the world to say.
What if my international shipment gets lost?
Unfortunately, there are too many variables and there isn't anything I can do about a lost package except help you hope. If you want to pay for insurance, you have to also opt for USPS Express mail or UPS, and shipping costs are astromonical for these for such a tiny purchase. In two years, only one package ever disappeared entirely without a trace. Perhaps I will offer this option at some point. Most packages sent via USPS Priority International don't have proper tracking information number until after they have been delivered, so it is pretty much impossible to keep on top of what is going on. The USPS does not care. That is the bottom line. If I call them and actually reach a human, they are not at all concerned that the package has gone missing. Perhaps after a few months, a claim can be filed, but by then the package always seems to have turned up. If you absolutely are not comfortable with this slight gamble, please contact us via email about using a trackable service such as UPS. Quotes will be given on an individual basis for shipping overseas via UPS. Express Shipping (1-2 days)
When you order Express Shipping, your order is shipped by 3pm the following business day, sooner if possible. Please plan accordingly. Please request a quote to your area. Please specify exactly what you wish to order. All Express shipments will be charged an additional handling fee. This charge will not be waived. Also, please understand that the US Post Office does not guarantee next-day delivery to all locations. Please check their service commitment from zip code 33009 to be sure your order will arrive in the time frame you need. We can not be held responsible if they take longer than overnight from the time they are shipped. Feel free to call for more information. When we ship via USPS Express Mail, we do not do the initial scan and we do not take responsibility for packages that do not arrive in the desired timeframe. The Post Office will only do an initial scan if the packages are manually checked in, which requires standing in line for well over 30 minutes. Therefore we drop off the packages and do not have them scanned. This means that the post office does not guarantee the arrival time. It has been our experience that the packages do arrive within the guaranteed timeframe but we cannot take responsibility for packages that do not. If you need the initial scan so that the arrival time can be guaranteed, you must pay an additional $60 to cover the costs of standing in line with 2 children to check in the package. This cost is not negotiable.
USPS Express Mail requires a signature for delivery. If you are not available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left. You may wind up having to pick up the package at your post office the following day.
Return Policies
- If a product has been damaged during shipment to you, or if there is a problem with the order, please call us immediately or email us and we will remedy the situation.
- To return an item, email us with order number to let us know the specific item you will be returning. We will email you our ship to address and ask that you return all warranty cards, the original box and instructions with the product(s). Shipping is not included in returns or exchanges. Returns and exchanges must include all of the original packaging and literature. If the item is dirty, washed, or incomplete, we reserve the right to deduct all or part of the refund. Once an item is washed, it cannot be returned. Please note that any product returned that smells of smoke is not eligible for any refund. Returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt. All merchandise comes with its original factory warranty. Should you have problems with a product, you should contact the manufacturer for assistance. Of course, we will assist you in any way we can.
- All refunds are issued to the credit card used for the original purchase.
- All returns must have prior authorization. Unathorized returns will not be accepted.
Baby Carrier and Diaper Bag Returns
All returned baby carriers must be received within 30 days in order to be eligible for full or partial refund. Please return the baby carrier in unwashed, like new condition and it will be refunded minus a restocking fee of $10. Please note that any product returned that smells of smoke is not eligible for any refund.
If you need to exchange or return, please contact SoBeBabies.com, Inc for a return authorization. No returns will be processed without prior approval. If you are having difficulties in adjusting or using your baby carrier, we ask that you first attempt to let us help you find a solution. There will be a $10.00 restocking fee for all other baby carrier returns, $5 for babywearing accessories.
Stroller Returns
If you are unhappy with a stroller you can return it to us within 30 days of your purchase. The restocking fee is $10 for the Swiss Stroller Rider, $40 for Easy Walker Sky and Englacha Strollers, $10 for Easy Walker Sky Accessories. You pay the one-way return shipping cost.
Other Returns
All other items are final sale unless there is a defect. Please contact us and we will do everything we can in the case of a manufacturer's defect.
