I just wanted to let everyone know how
great the Ergo is with the newborn insert. (By the way, I ordered
the insert from Ellen's sobebabies.com and was thrilled with how fast
it came and how accessible Ellen was re how to use it!).
My little guy was not
loving the sling but wanted to nurse and be carried constantly.
The ergo with insert keeps him semi-upright and stable, so I can really
nurse him without worrying about him shifting and yanking something
(which is what it was like with the sling). If anyone is
expecting a baby, you should consider the ergo. It has made such
a difference here that I just ordered a second insert for backup!

Ellen
has been a great resource of information and encouragement in our
process of adopting a little boy from Russia. My husband and I are
anxiously waiting for a court date to bring the little one (18months)
home. During these endless months of waiting, I have been reading much
on how to improve the bonding and attachment process with our son.
Physical closeness is even more important for an adoptive child who has
missed out on intense body contact while living in an orphanage. Ellen
has been so helpful in educating me about baby carriers. After
exchanging some emails, we were able to meet so she could demonstrate
various options as well as techniques. Her beautiful baby daughter
served as a wonderful and patient helper in this process while trying
out various carriers. As I am ready to leave for Russia, I feel well
equipped with both a baby sling and an Ergo Baby Carrier. Can’t wait to
use them!

My Ella Roo wrap has been a great
addition to my baby carrier collection. I
was immediately able to hold my baby in a front carry and after some
practice, was able to use a back carry as well. It also works well for
my
husband. He is able to use the back carry more easily than any other
baby
carriers we have tried.
My favorite part of the wrap is its versatility and the fact that I can
be
completely hands free and my baby is very secure. The fabric is very
comfortable and distributes the weight of the baby in such a way that it
does not strain my shoulders or back. I often carry her in the wrap when
doing housework or when shopping.
Finally, the wrap washes and dries very quickly. The colors are
beautiful
and the delicate tastles are very attractive.

able to come to our playgroup here in Miami last week....I was looking
forward to the Ergo's this week at our playgroup,....I'm
pretty desperate....and I would also like to take another look at the
patapum.... I would

I was very
interested in switching from the pouch to a carrier
better suited to a toddler.
Searching
the web brought me
more confusion as I wasn't sure what most of the products
really
looked
like, felt like or how they even worked. After several
email conversations, Ellen recommended that I
try the Ergo. Her detailed email descriptions
were right
on and the Ergo did everything she said it would. I still
wanted to see what else was
out there so I attended one of
her baby wearing classes. I tried out four different baby
carriers. I loved them all but Ellen was right when she said
the Ergo would suit my needs best After a
quick IN PERSON
lesson I was good to go. My Ergo ended
up having a minor
manufacturing defect and upon informing Ellen of this she insisted she
replace my used one with a brand new one right
away! The most
friendly and informative customer service I
have ever experienced.

I've been using my Baby Bjorn for 4 months but my back is really
starting to hurt. I saw Ellen with her Ergo and asked her about it. She
showed me how to use it with my son. He weighs 15 pounds and I didn't
think I'd be able to carry him anymore - he's so big! But with the
Ergo, I can put him and and it's like nothing!

I love my new
Patapum! I love the color and the simple style. I love having my baby
on my back and having my hands free. I love not having to haul my

I
was one of
those dedicated sling wearers. I never thought there was a need for
anything else. But after 3 kids, I'm tired of always having my back
hurt. I can't believe how comfortable the Ergo is and how long I can
keep my daughter in it. Sometimes I use it for my son when he gets
tired of walking or just wants a ride. I had a lot of trouble at first
